However, those pet owners state that many cats broke out with an allergic reaction around their necks within hours of placing it on their pet. Furthermore, in order to get rid of the reaction and make sure their cat wasn’t left with any residue from the collar, they had to go to the vet for a special bath, costing them a lot more than the $5.99 this product retails for online and in stores.
