Fleabusters Rx for Fleas Plus Review

Fleabusters Rx

An affordable indoor flea powder treatment, Fleabusters Rx for Fleas Plus

guarantees to control fleas for one year. According to the manufacturer, users notice results within two to three weeks, but is it really this effective?

This product consists of borate powder which kills fleas by dehydration. Fleas walk through the treated areas and carry the clinging powder back to their nest to infect and wipe out its inhabitants. The odorless powder can be applied to both carpeted and non-carpeted areas and will not stain surfaces including furniture.

Borate powder has been used as a safe and effective pest control for over forty years. It has also been used outside in the yard to control ants, roaches, termites, and fungus.

Based on customer reviews of this in-home flea control product, a high percentage of users swear by this product, use it regularly, and recommend it to others.

The most common complaint is the time consuming process required to prepare the area, apply the powder, and remove the excess powder by repeated vacuuming. However, many who complained about the lengthy process did state that the positive results achieved were well worth the time spent. Only a handful of consumers stated that the product did not have any affect on hardwood floors or highly infested areas.

Most consumers also use a separate flea control product on their dog or cat to speed up the process since results are not apparent for two to three weeks. Less than a handful of users stated that powdered boric acid can be inexpensively purchased at the local department store in smaller quantities to produce the same results. Only those with dust allergies experienced coughing during the application process, but a mask is recommended due to the dust involved.

No reports of harmful affects on animals, children or adults were documented. One person told us her houseplants died due to the dust, but she did not mention if her plants were protectively covered as directed in the instructions.

Overall, Fleabusters Rx for Fleas Plus is a highly effective solution for mild to moderate flea infestation in the home. The manufacturer discloses the main ingredient, how it works, and provides detailed instructions for correct application. It has shown no ill effects to humans or animals as long as the powder is not directly ingested. Approved and recommended by dermatologists and veterinarians, this powder is a good investment especially with its money back guarantee if the consumer is not satisfied with the results.

I highly recommend this product. I have used this stuff more than once. The article above says for ‘mild to moderate flea infestation’ but
I’m here to tell you that it’ll do the job on a heavily infested house, and it indeed lasts for a year or longer!!

Of course it isn’t going to work well on a house with hardwood or tile floors. There is no carpet to rake the powder into so it all gets vacuumed up. Who ever tried it on hard floors has no common sense at all.

For those that complain it doesn’t work, I’m telling you that they didn’t apply it correctly. You have to use a carpet rake to get it down into the carpet. Don’t just apply it then vacuum it up.

So far the cheapest place I’ve found it is at Amazon.com.
